Montblanc Australia is delighted to announce Bec and Lleyton Hewitt as brand ambassadors. A first for Montblanc in Australia, the brand ambassador program hopes to connect our brand values to the wider community through cultural and artistic activities.
Rebecca ‘Bec’ Hewitt, mother of three young children, is best known for her role on Home and Away and winning the first Dancing with the Stars series in Australia. In 2005 she was awarded the Logie for Most Popular Actress, and the following year she was recognised with nominations in the same category and the coveted Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality. “Montblanc has been a brand that I have supported for years and now to have the opportunity to be one of their brand ambassadors is really exciting. I love the quality and attention to detail, it is really amazing!” says Bec.
A contemporary Australian sports icon, Lleyton Hewitt is a fantastic example of focus and determination. The youngest ever tennis player to reach World No 1 on the ATP Tour and Australia’s most successful David Cup player, the former US Open and Wimbledon champion will be re-joining the world tour in the coming months. As a role model to youth the world over, he lives as an example of what you can achieve through dedication and commitment. Lleyton recently said, “to be associated with a quality brand such as Montblanc is tremendous, Bec and I are really looking forward to working with them.”
Montblanc has its roots in writing culture and therefore sees a particular obligation to its own cultural commitment. Through various international activities, Montblanc makes a creative contribution to modern cultural life: Montblanc itself writes a small piece of cultural history. The brand believes Bec and Lleyton Hewitt embody its core beliefs and values of dedication and elegance, thus making them a perfect match for the brand. Montblanc Australia Managing Director Leon Mervis said, “To have Bec and Lleyton join us as brand ambassadors in Australia truly makes for a wonderful fit and we are thrilled to have them. When we met Bec for the first time we were intrigued by her warm and natural personality. Lleyton’s strength of character and personable nature are the perfect combination which embodies our core brand principles.”
For over 100 years, Montblanc has embraced the traditions of lasting value, quality and exquisite craftsmanship. The brand’s uncompromising principles of design, style and workmanship have allowed them to create heirloom collections that are passed from generation to generation. The iconic Montblanc emblem, the white star, is a symbol of excellence worldwide – the pinnacle of luxury writing instruments, timepieces, jewellery and leather. The brand has made an enduring commitment to encourage excellence through cultural advancement.
Bec and Lleyton will join Montblanc in furthering the brands cultural goals and will participate in future events to be held around the country.
