Lleyton Hewitt flew out of Sydney today to join the Australian team for the Beijing Olympics.

Hewitt, keen to return to the tennis court, said he was looking forward to being part of the Olympic experience. "To represent your country is always a huge thrill, but to do so with so many other Australians in an Olympics is hard to beat".

Hewitt will contest the singles event and doubles event, with Chris Guccione and will then travel to New York for the US Open.
