Hello Again! The first trip overseas for the year is over. Travelling through a few of my favourite places in the US is a great way to start our year on the road. So currently we're in Sydney. I can't believe how much rain we've had since being home. As many parents would know little ones can get a bored being indoors all day, so Mia and I have been doing many fun activities to keep her occupied such as painting, stamping, dress ups and Mia's favourite face painting where I too got my face um... decorated by Mia. However I did get a funny look when a delivery arrived and I stepped outside with my face looking like I belong to a circus! So far we're all enjoying our time at home just having some quiet time, with not too many commitments and just popping into the eSwap office occasionally. (eSwap is our business venture. An online swapping and auctioning site where people have a cheaper alternative to what's currently on the market place, to list items to either sell/auction or swap for other items of interest. To check it out just click on the eSwap logo.) And not before long we'll be packing to head off for our next trip. With quite a few stops in different places we go through many different climates. For example Hamburg (Germany) is incredibly cold this time of year and Paris can have really hot days. So packing light (which I'm definitely not any good at) can be a real challenge - although I am improving! On the packing note one of my weaknesses when it comes to purchases while travelling is children's books. Which is not the most sensible thing to buy. One, the hard cover books weigh a lot and two, they get all doggy eared travelling them from place to place. So I have many areas for improvement! Also, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent through fanmail. Obviously it can be very difficult responding to everyone but I just wanted to say your kind words are much appreciated and to answer one of the most commonly asked questions - whether I'll be returning to Home and Away anytime soon? Well at the moment I spend so much time overseas and I value this time with Mia so no plans to commit to any long term projects just at the moment, but anything whether it be hosting jobs or smaller acting jobs I'd love to do if they can fit into my time at home. So here's a big thank you to just a few of the names who sent their messages through! Hi and thanks to: Abbey-Jade, Amanda, Andrea, Bec G, Bec M, Bianca, Carmen, Cyn, Debs, Donna, Ellouisa, Esengul, Hailey, Jenny, Karen, Kerrie, Libby, Melissah & David, Natalie, Pamela, Phoebe, Rebecca, Sarah, Shannon, Sharni, Tammy and Tylie. Hope you all continue to enjoy the website!
Be back soon!
