Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 180g Macaroni
  • 55g Monterey cheese
  • 90g extra sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 45g butter

 

Directions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions and then drain.
  2. Meanwhile cut up butter, Monterey and sharp Cheddar cheeses into 1 inch squares for easy melting. Separate butter and cheese into 2 equal portions.
  3. Beginning with one of the portions, microwave on 50% power for 7 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir well. Add second portion and repeat microwave for another 7 minutes. Remove and stir well.
  4. Pour cheese mixture over cooked macaroni and stir until noodles are coated with butter and cheese mixture. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving.
