Healthy eating is very important for people of all ages,
especially for actresses and sportspeople. Here are some favourite recipes of the
Hewitt family, which we encourage you to make for your family.
(Make sure you have
your mum or dad’s help before starting to cook and please be careful in the
kitchen!!)

Fruit and Yoghurt Fingers |

Ingredients:
- banana slice
- watermelon sliced
- pear sliced
- pineapple sliced
- sultanas
- apples sliced
- strawberries sliced
- skewers
- yoghurt or cream
Directions:
Thread choice of fruit onto skewers and drizzle with yoghurt or cream or dip fruit into yoghurt/cream.

Servings - 1
Ingredients:
- half cup chopped strawberries
- 1 cup of low fat milk
- 1 tablespoon of low fat vanilla ice-cream
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together and serve.

Ingredients:
- 1 packet Jelly
- 2 Teaspoons of Gelatin
- Water
Directions:
Make jelly according to instructions & add extra gelatin. Stir until dissolved.
Pour jelly into lamington tin or plastic container set in refrigerator until firm. Once set cut into strips using a sharp knife & store in an airtight container in fridge.

Servings – 4
Ingredients:
* 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
* 5 eggs
* 1 tablespoon milk
* ½ teaspoon salt
* ¼ teaspoon pepper
* 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
* 250gms sliced bacon
* 4 (10 inch) flour tortillas, warmed
Directions:
- Cook bacon and then cut into small pieces and put aside.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into a heated pan.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Cook and stir gently over medium heat until the eggs are completely set.
- Spoon ½ cup of the mixture down the centre of the warmed tortilla; fold sides over filling and serve.
