In December 2004 Lleyton finished his arrangement with management company Octagon, and through his own company hired a manager to handle all his affairs. Lleyton Hewitt Marketing is the name of his management company and it also handles the affairs of Bec.

In February 2007, David Drysdale was appointed manager of Lleyton Hewitt Marketing. David has been involved in tennis for many years, as a former coach, Executive Director of Tennis Tasmania and former Tennis Australia manager. David was actually the manager/coach of one of Lleyton’s first overseas tours when he was 13, traveling with him through Europe for 6 weeks. From there they maintained a good friendship with their paths constantly crossing at Davis Cup ties, and they now form a strong business partnership.
